    Got it going, thanks again. I re-downloaded from git-hub and this time it was the right executable. Easy as pie once you're in the right place. Ran all night and will run all day today. Not sure what any of my hash rates are, but will look deeper once I'm not distracted.

    Not sure what you mean? Difficulty is going to be changing due to number of people mining and the pool. The more people mining, the higher the difficulty will be. The pool can also set difficulty levels as well. So yeah on lesser coins the difficulty can shift around as its the network hash is felt more by a large miner moving to something else.

    Nope. Best thing to happen for people who actually believe in crypto is a stable market. Dec/Jan was nothing close to that. Healthy growth is much better than huge swings like we were seeing.

    You can set the starting difficulty by selecting the port. My laptop is set at port 5555 and the gaming computer is set at port 7777
