We've settled into an every other night rhythm, which works well for both of us! So I do still ride my truck more, but that's fine by me.

 

You guys are fucking killing me... clearly I am the minority here. This sucks.

 

Nah every couple is different. My last long relationship was more of a once a week type deal and I was fine with that too. As long as you're getting what you need there's no reason to compare!

Yeah... that too. FML.

 

A day and a half of 30+ miles each way back and forth to work and the headlight issue has not returned. I did a cursory check of the wiring yesterday before I left home and it all looked good, I'll do a deeper dive into it all this weekend if the weather permits. I'm not sure what was going on, but it was weird as hell and now that it's seemingly gone away on its own, I'm even more confused.

 

X2. The GF and I go through cycles. Sometimes we're down around twice a week or so and then other times we're like rabbits on cocaine. Usually after a surge of bunny-style morning & evening action we hit a wall and go 4-5 days without again.

Don't worry, it'll show up again the next time you're a couple hundred miles from home, at night, in the rain.

Your not getting any, so sleeping on the couch for a while won't hurt. But the truck will be happy with new suspension and give you a smooth ride and make you smile.

Tomorrow is valentines get wife flowers, candy and a card. She will be happy as a clam. Then order the suspension as a gift for the taco.

 

Already got "yelled" at when I told her I was planning on getting her something. She shot that down... said that she didn't want anything because we haven't gotten each other anything for a while now, especially ever since the first kid was born.

 

Damn, that sucks. We aren't getting anything for each other, more because when we want something throughout the year we tend to just buy it. I'm going to make her a nice dinner at home, but nothing other than that.

 

I don't even know if we'll do anything just the two of us to be honest. Don't really have the time because of the kids...

 

So keep it simple and just get her a cheap bouquet of flowers and a small box of chocolates. If she gets upset that she didn't get you anything tell her that you didn't want anything back and just thought it'd be nice to do something for her.
