    Dan...I have sympathy for your medical struggles but you first posted here Nov 5th and have been an impatient poster since. I’ve wasted 10 minutes rereading your post in this one thread. It was repeatedly explained that you’re hoping on a first legitimate product development to get more out of the 2nd gen Tacoma Engine - NA or SC via tuning the ECU. Which by the way since I’ve been in here, has never been accomplished until now. It’s a holy grail of sorts.

    While several of us have been following this patiently since June 14th (feel free to start reading page 1)...you jump in, pleading, seemingly demanding all of @OVTunes focus on what serves your needs.

    Let the man do his voodoo wizardry work. You’ll thank him for it later.

    I don't recall EVER demanding anything. I have pointed out several times that several dates have come and gone that we purchasers were led to believe the tune would be available. At least 3 that I can recall. First in Dec. Then in Jan. I believe the last one was 10 days ago now.

    I've not called anyone names, but I HAVE voiced my displeasure over the length of time this has taken. An "army of one" as someone mentioned. I think we are up to an army of 3-4 now.

    I've seen dates given, then come and go. Still no tune. My $500 spent has purchased the privilege of being a customer who has earned the right to voice his concern with this taking so frikken long.

    As I've said earlier, if most of you guys are ok with this delay, that's your privelege as well, just don't tell me I should be a statisfied happy camper with the ongoing delay. It's not like I'm on here every day giving the tuner a rash about it. I typically wait till I see him mention a date the tunes will be done, give it a few days and then find I've still got no tune available. If that kind of customer service works for you, fine. I just find it to be misleading and annoying as all get out!!!

    And Ed, or anyone else...I have no requirements about anyone reading my post and wasting their time. Put me on the ignore list and just post your results about how well your tune is working. Easy enough.

    And interestingly enough Mr Ed...you had plenty of inquiries that smacked of getting impatient, but now that your tune is FINALLY in, you are miraculously tired of reading my asking about when mine will work. Lets see, after going back and reading through this 80 page post fest I count at least 10-12 of your posts being none to happy on the wait. Short memory I see...

    Small butt dyno update: truck feels like it has gotten a ridiculous bump in torque around 2,000 rpm. My clutch is dying an honorable death.

    The tuners aren't different for NA/FI. Just the tunes.

    This is a long shot, but since my 08 FJ shares the same 1gr as the 2nd gen tacomas, would the tuner work if the ecu code or number was added like you have been doing? Just asking since i see it says "coming soon" & "sold out" for the FJ on the website.

    yes, it's the exact same process. I just don't have FJ files at the moment.
    Even the tuning between the FJ and Tacoma is the same, only difference is transmission stuff really

    @OVTune
    So my original plan whenever I was going to buy one of these was to try and get out to your shop for some scheduled dyno time and custom tuning. If I get one of the handhelds and run one of the available tunes, are you still able to custom tune it at a later date if I ever make it to your shop?

    I fully understand why you're unhappy and disappointed with the timeline of getting these going. So am I, as I have to wait on a 3rd party to add the files to the software.

    If you want you can return it I will fully refund you. I'm still waiting for them to add YWG4100, YWG4400, but it's in the que.

    are you going to get 30473000 in soon? I tried just now thinking 3047200 was a typo and it did not work.

    @D-Rose and I are waiting on 30473000

    I believe only the newer ones, as the older had single with trd supercharger option, but no supercharger option on dual vvt

    So 11+ is different
