They are advertised as Halogen projectors with an LED drl, not meant to run a LED bulb. Besides that, running a LED bulb in a junky projector that was only meant for a halogen is going to be a waste of money.

That being said no one is going to stop you from putting LED bulbs in.

    THIS.

Understand that ANY light housing that utilizes the stock bulbs and/or does not state they will ONLY work with HID bulbs is in essence a halogen projector. To those that arnt familiar, halogen bulbs are not as precise in their lenses as their output design is different compared to the very precise output that an HID kit provides. Long story short, HID kit mixed with a halogen projector will yield shittier results than a halogen bulb in the halogen projector.

Yea I mean that is what is in there. The high and low both work just fine.

Here are my 05-11 Lights. I absolutely love them! I had Led bulbs in the stock housings and I loved the light output, but these halogens are much better than the stock housings with halogens.

Can we get some beam shots? Also, in your pics, are the parking lights on, or is that the DRL function?

I think I like the 05-11 version better than the 12-15. Not too many times that happens around here.

Are both the headlights and tails the tinted lens versions?

    Here you go!

I'll have to get some night shots later...

My truck never had DRL's, but yes, these LED bars are wired in to the corner marker lights. They come wired so that you just remove the stock bulbs from your corner light and plug these in.

Me too, more room for a prominent LED

Can any of you guys that own these lights talk about the high beam? It says that it has a mechanical high-beam, but yet you guys are posting that it is a dual filament headlight. How does it work, is it effective?

I was about to ask the same thing... I thought that all the h8, h9, and h11 bulbs were single filament. How does mechanical high beam work?

Mine are coming Thursday and I still have no idea about the 2 questions posted above. I’m under the impression that it’s not mechanical, and an H9 (or equivalent) bulb is what it takes.

Trying to sort this out before they’re on the truck!
