in other news my gas tank door hinge is broken on one side. LOLZ

 

Could it be fixed with a new rivet? Or is the actual hinge broken?

 

Someone reached out to me and asked to post it. It's a part that anyone who wheels could possibly use at some point.

Nah. Well sort of. It's his friend in CT. Apparently the part is 300 new. This is a good ADD that is used. That's about all I know about it. I can put whoever in touch with whoever.

 

So I'm ordering these brake lines. +1 front and +4 back is plenty? Anyone wish they went more in the back? I'l have dakars and a shackle flip.

I have Dakar’s+AAL but NO shackle flip.

The +4” is way too much. I keep wondering if all that extra length will snag on something on the ground.

 

I assume you've been at the limit for droop? If so, how did the lines look, if you noticed. Thats where the issue would come in.

 

Yes. I’m at the limit for droop. Can’t go any further, or I’ll hyperextend my B110’s.


At full droop, my +4 brake lines are very slack.

 

+4 is good. Even +1 in the front is too much.

Edit: not sure with shackle flip

Only person I know that has more is @tacobell007 with +12

 

When I was reading through the archive garage thread with their flip, some guys were going like +8

Actually hinge is broken

 

Dang, that sucks. What's the fix?

 

Pic? Maybe spot weld it? Rivet?

Edit..... wait is it the actual hinge? Or the flaps on each side of the hinge
