    Ohhhh....Emmmm.....GEEEEEE!

Better go out and remove my 1" Bora wheel spacers. The 147,000 miles without a problem is an anomaly. They'll make my bearings fail instantaneously.

    Yeah right.

Not to mention the 225K with 1-1/2" spacers on my Tundra without a problem....

I love shade tree engineers!

Wheel spacer post in another sub forum.... Pretend physicist with his opinion wheel spacers are deadly. This gentleman has an aversion to reality and/or facts.

I need a trailer. Everett needs a trailer.

I found a wrecked 09 Tacoma TRD OR today. Cab is whacked. Interior not hurt. Engine wasted. Bed OK. Drivetrain Ok. No wheels/tires. 105k miles. $1000. Buying it.

    Scottsburg Indiana.

Gotta get it home. May pay wrecker.

Just completed a couple job interviews with perspective employees. One was carrying on a two-part conversation with herself regarding "the afterlife". Other one was just plain nuts. Both submitted BRILLIANT resume's. Both have all the signs of being a potential a serial killer. Next.

Picked up EBC brake stuff while ago. New brakes tomorrow afternoon. Also grabbed a set of NGK spark plugs. That'll happen Thursday. (Valentine's Day dinner on Wed.) Getting ready for drive to Moab!

Moab plans "evolved". I'm the youngin In the group. We voted to hire a trail guide who will handle camping. 4 days/3 nights. All we have to do is drive and take care of our trucks and food/drinks. Less responsibility and more vacation! Old farts dont like sleeping on rocks.

Almost a boring drive in to work. No ice. No wrecks. Even the idiot drivers were OK this morning, 'cept for one asshole that was averaging about 25 lane changes per mile. He was driving his ass off and managed to gain all of 10 car lengths while endangering everyone else on the highway.

That was me 40 years ago.

That went well! New drums, rotors, pads, shoes, and DONE! All EBC yellow. 2 hours and 35 minutes from start to finish. Pays dividends having good tools!

I was starting to feel some brake vibration in front on hard braking. That's taken care of!

Next chore is spark plugs in a few days. Then air and cabin filter. Then point it west toward Utah!

    And....A weather report.

Kentucky is flooding. Harlan, Bell, and Pike Counties (southeast) are declaring a state of emergency. We're wet but not flooding YET. That SHOULD change. Calling for heavy rain 5 of the next 6 days. 4"+ by Friday.

A few old friends and I were looking to do a "RRG light" trail ride in a couple weeks. Or else head north to one of a couple spots in Indiana. Those may be on hold.

On a brighter note, extremely dry in Utah at the moment.

Just not a huge fan of swimming with trucks.

It's Kentucky, it won't flood for long.

You don't live/work near a river or creek do you?

My back yard is the highest point in 3 counties. If we flood everyone else is in trouble. Literally the "mount" of Mt. Washington....

Those hills drain into low lying areas. Harlan County is a freaking mess anywhere NOT on a mountain. They're getting so much run off it isn't running off...

They're sweating it for that reason. Erosion.

It'll make the next time out wheeling more of a challenge
