Just got my shipping confirmation. I won't install it for another couple of months. I need a little warmer weather before I can make this happen. It will give a little time to see how others like the results on what they have decided to do with the rear end......AAl, Progressives or Block to level things out or return rake.

Out of those options AAL will be the best, don't go blocks, Icon or Wheelers AAL...they're made by the same manufacturer.

Will the ride quality suffer with the AAL?

So which AAL are you suggesting and what height difference are we looking at? Granted mines a 2014 but I currently have the procomp leveling kit with the 1" rear block and get alot of axle wrap. Going to replace with the PTR13-35150 but realize I'll need a little bump in the rear. 1" or less is what I'm shooting for.

You should have the 4 leaf pack like me. AAL and remove the overload. That should get you there. I also have bags, but will be happy to let the air down. Been using them to keep from bro-lean with my 5100's up front at 1.75

I have one of UsOffroads bumpers, its on the lighter side, and a winch. Probably 120lbs up front. I did 5100's up front at 1.75" and threw some in back too. I wish i would have done them at 0.85" or went with something else all together. Too stiff and eatin my tires, but that mostly cause of added weight. My needle bearing also started squealing and luckily i was still within warranty and got tsb bearing.

If it was me, i would pay the little extra for the Pro setup, much beefier for a little more dough. You should be able to get your rake back with AAL.

Well if you bought from Conicelli on the 8th they should be getting ready to head out. I was also going to take a lot of measurements, many pictures and also install pictures so everybody can see what needs to be done. There are a lot of questions on here and people have already installed them and also put the installation diagram on here but still some confusion. I will show how I did mine and take before and after measurements at the hub center to the top of the fender. They should be here Thursday so hopefully this weekend I can get them installed, will let everyone know about it.

I have the Icon mini leaf pack, 1.5 inches of lift in the rear, think it rides great.
Better Bumpstops help when you go through your travel, the stock ones are hard.
When I put the new suspension on should be level or a bit of rake.

Anyone here in the LA/OC area recommend a place for my 4x4 needs such as buying a pair of AAL? Headstrong is in Hemet and that's about an hour and a half drive from where I'm am. Maybe if I was to go Wheeling one day around there.

Why not just order from Headstrong? Looks like they offer free shipping on their AAL's. Im deciding between theirs or the single Deaver for when I get the suspension.

From researching it looks like the a 3leaf AAL will ride a little bit better for daily driving but the single is better at supporting additional weight.

I test drove this white 2013 Baja a few weeks back when I was looking for mine and it definitely had some bro lean. Might not be super noticeable in the picture, but it was definitely noticeably in-person and on the test drive.

Yeah I'll most likely go that route. Just trying to see if anybody knows a shop so I can pick up and save on shipping. Headstrong AAL and remove the overload so I can get 1.5 which I believe will be perfect.

Thanks for the pic. Was the Pro setup the same way as the Baja as far as the rear end? I know the Baja had a different spring rate on the front. Also might be some sag in the rear of a 5 year old truck. Not trying to be a jerk, just thinking out loud. Either way, I don't believe there will be an issue with lifting the rear of the truck 1.5-2" in conjunction with the shocks in this kit. Mine should be here this week, but it will probably be a couple of weeks before I get to install.

Oh yea I don't doubt the truck would have worn given it's age and about 70k miles on the odometer, but for what it's worth the other standard Off Roads I checked out didn't have the sag, even at over 100k miles. I don't own a Baja/Pro myself so I can't comment on the specifics about at how many miles the sag starts to become more apparent, but I'm anticipating it so I got the Wheelers 3 leaf AAL to put in along side with my kit.

Those that have installed...are you having to fix Bro-lean on DCSB (3rd gen)? or are you good with just fixing the nose high?

So PO installed a procomp 3/1 kit on my 14' DCSB 4x4. I'm going to install the TRD Pro kit. What I'm not clear on, was there a different smaller leaf spring block prior to the procomp kit being installed that I need to purchase or was there no block at all. I assume something was there but I have no idea how it came from the factory.
