Raising kids together is important but at some point your happiness is too

I have been with my wife for 32 years on Feb 22 and married for 26 on June 20. I hasn't been all good or all bad, it has just been a lot of work and commitment. We have had the fuck you conversation and are talking about divorce but want to try again. Sometimes it just takes both sides not taking the other for granted.

 

Dam, am I glad I didn't skip today's episode of NE bullshit on TW.

At first I was like WHAT, then I remember you forgot to add the winters are hell, I can't understand how any one survives them.

We refer to it as gods country, not the end of the world, but you can see it from there.

Have you asked her how she would feel if you went hunting? She have friend that may need servicing? In on honesty, I would be like, one way or another I need to dip it, this yanking only works for so long. Maybe you can convince her that it's medically necessary for you. Or my favorite, when the wife is stressed, it's the best stress relief one can get, but thankfully she agrees.

 

LOL. Maybe I'm making it seem worse than what it really is. Maybe I'm not. I don't even know anymore. All I know is that I'm not getting any, and sometimes it goes weeks at a time before I do. Maybe it's just me, but for a still young couple to me that just doesn't seem "normal".

Like Billy said, It definitely takes some work ,we'll be married 30 years in October,we've had our ups and downs, separated for a year a while back and almost got divorced, even had a court date, but decided to work on it, had some really intense conversations but everything we've been through has made us stronger, i honestly couldn't imagine life without her.
