That'd change my mind - real quick!

But seriously, the only 2 reasons I didn't get a Jeep before:
    1) Needed a truck to haul the motorcycle and didn't want to go to the DMV again to register a trailer.
    2) They didn't have the 4 door jeeps then.

I would drive the shit out of a 4 door Rubicon and apologize to nobody. I love my Tacoma for both its capability and practicality but and equally equipped Rubicon would out wheel the Taco with ease.

    Those Brutes are badass looking.

I had a bad experience w/ a Jeep in college, and probably won't go back because of it. I don't have a real problem w/ Jeeps or Jeep guys or anything, but I'm not giving that company a second chance.

Same with VW. My wife's '02 Passat was a PITA.

I am talking about the drive train, can't argue the body issues. But everything I have had by Chrysler. Its been garbage. I'm not putting down the fact that they are good for off road. But I don't like working on my ride all the time to keep it running! And we are talking about this on Tacoma world! :D

I just wouldn't trust a Jeep because Chrysler makes them now and not Jeep. I know someone that "had" a Jeep Cherokee and the top of the motor blew at 41,000 miles. That person now drives a Tacoma.

vw's are the most over rated vehicles on the market, they claim quality but every single person I have ever known to own one, including myself have had nothing but problems. Especially with their transmissions.

i got nothing against jeeps, they promote boob rubbing and coors light :D

i really, really like the new JK's. they are pretty damn sick when built up. Outlaw Offroad has a nice one. i'd buy a new JK before an FJ Cruiser

Wrangler's are fun, especially with the top off. I've found the 4.0l to be on the sluggish side though which has always been a little suprising to me.

Every spring I want one, hell I was saying that to the Fiance Today she said the minute I had the Jeep I'd want my Taco back, she's right.

I'd love to have one to wheel or as a second car, but I don't want to sacrifice the comfort or power of my V6 Taco, and with the commuting I do back and forth from Atlanta I don't want to have a Jeep.

If you're looking for a Jeep, do as Janster said and get a YJ with a 4.0

I only like driving it when we take the top / doors off.

I don't like driving it because it has far less power than the taco...

    and...

she got it in 4x2 before I could intervene @ the dealer :puke:
