    Depends on what you consider an issue. An 1/8" all the way around isn't hard to fill using steel and a mig/arc welder. But if it's stainless and using a tig welder, it's gonna be a min.

    I'm using 1", and 285's, with minimal clearance issues before trimming. 3rd gen has a bit more room, you have a slightly narrower tire, and just a 1/4" more spacer. Maybe NO trimming.


    But it is so much fun taking a :sawzall: to an expensive truck!

    I've got a pipe swage tool here at work if you need to increase the diameter of the smaller pipe to where it fits the larger one more closely. Good tool rental places will have em too.
