What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I just don’t think it’d be worth it .

 

They're pretty darn good, they're Rigid knockoffs but they function pretty well and throw much better than the old sealed beams did.

 

Wouldn’t want to keep things simple or anything haha

I swapped the tail light relay for an led relay and my lights work perfect. No resistors at all

 

What is this little circular spring to? Looks like it was a part of the old pinion seal but I don’t know

 

Have you tried replacing the flasher relay (on the back of the fuse block under the dash) with a LED flasher relay? I did that instead of intsalling any resistors to solve my hyper blinker problem, after I did the fog light mod and installed LEDs. It like 8 bucks for the led flasher relay at the auto stores. It is a pita to install if you have big hands and dont want to take apart you dash all the way lol.

 

I tell myself it's because they're energy efficient but I'm a ricer at heart. Before I put my new bumper on, I had switchbacks and they were just so damn cool.

 

You guus can throw me in there to drive. I got no experience but i do drive fast n take chances!

Oh yea, I've had one for a while. Even got an adjustable one so it's juuussst a bit slower than stock. Even switched it out in case it was defective. Right now, my money is on these cheap remote controlled 194s that are in my gauge cluster. Everything else is superbrightleds but they're remote controlled RGB lights and I lack self control. I'll swap them out with some superbrightled bulbs that I took out.

If I was any bigger, I'd have to remove my dash to get to that flasher relay.

 

That would help. Still no idea where that wire goes.
