It’s called a cheater bar

 

Re-arranged the bed, so much space for activities.

 

yeah I have a really big breaker bar and it feels like its going to break. I ran into this issue when I went to install extra bed tie downs. I got one bolt up about 1/2 inch then shit started feeling too sketchy. tightened it back down, and just drilled holes and put in some OEM ones like the ones that are already in the bed by the tail gate. I'm going to PB blaster the hell out of them a couple days before hand while I'm working on other things and cross my fingers.

 

Yeah the d ring ones are short the other ones are long but don't have many threads so hopefully just pb blaster will help

 

the bed bolts near the cab are long af! there a good 4 inches of bolt poking thro the nut haha and of course its rusted to shit so that was a no go. have not looked at bed bolts near tail yet, hopefully they are shorter with less showing, so less rusted threads, might buy a tap and dye set if I have to so I can pass it over the showing threads to clean them up

@Justanotherhemi sent me some bad ass ditch lights! The new mounts will be here Thursday so stay tuned for install then.
I also got a new patch while traveling along route 66 this past weekend.

Well... I only had to wire the ditch lights four times before they finally worked for me... But they're awesome! Glad I didn't give up on them.

 

Next mods will be the spacer to fix the taco lean which arrived yesterday and some AAL that I'm picking up from a local guy for $20!

I try to limit where I post on here to certain areas, too much Dbaggery going round. For some reason I lost a lot of my subscribed threads.

Just checking in. Did you ever find the new top shock long bolts you were looking for CoCo?

 

He had me sweating bullets for a few days when he couldnt get them working.

 

I know the feeling. His ass was gone when that light bar showed up I was like ohhhh fuck someone gonna snag that bitch!
