I think they were M8 if I remember. I don't recall the length. I bent the brackets instead of using longer bolts since mine was attaching to tubing anyway. I can go size them in a few

M8 × 75mm does the job great with the double stack bars. Ill get pics later. Ive also got the adjustable smittybilt feet on order, may or may not Need them, the added clearance will be good either way.

Maybe for future iterations, having the rails spaced closer to the side of the car would make it allot easier to access the fixings Chandler. Really just for those with big hands and prinsu or low profile racks, haha.

I have this tent. I was thinking about mounting a solar panel on top and the struts are more than enough to hold that but at 30 pounds you will probably need to replace the struts. I'm not sure how it will go then if you don't have any weight on the roof, it might be too hard to close.

Stop thinking and buy one guys... this is such a bad ass tent. Some are concerned about insulation and I must say I have used mine in 15 degree weather and I was warm and cozy. If you were to bring a small heater you would be sweating in minutes... hurry guys, don't slack like I did on the first gb

Was going to ask, what heaters do you guys use? I figured you wouldn't need to go propane and hook something electric up to car?

Personally I wouldn't, its not designed for a load on the roof.

lol, unfortunately that would require a new mold which would be pretty expensive and at that point you might as well redesign the whole thing. Am I the only one the unbolts the bars from the side rails and bolts the to the tent first, It takes me 5-10min at most by myself mounting the tent without an real effort

What's the cost and how do I get my name on the list? Would this fit on my truck(2000 Extra Cab) on a low bed rack without hanging over the tailgate (measurements)?

Apologies if I missed any information on the thread here. I've been scrolling through the pages here and not finding anything.

Haven't had a chance to take it out yet. But here's it mounted on the prinsu top rack. I double stacked the crossbars.

I'm interested but have a few questions on this RTT. I see it mounted on a Prinsu roof rack, does it require a spacer or does it mount directly to the T bars without any additional hardware? I have an ARB 2000 awning, would this be able to mount with the Prinsu awning brackets installed? Finally, what brand is it? I couldn't find this info when I looked at the initial posts. Thanks in advance.

The first page is where you’ll find that info, it has the dimensions, only actual dimensions I do not have is the larger model. $1700 shipped, can’t say if it will overhang, you’ll have to check the measurements yourself

It can be mounted directly to the bars, just depends how you want to do it. I’ve done it both ways. The spacer is mostly because the prinsu racks can end up being lower on the topper causing contact on bumps or body flex. I can’t say if you’ll have issue with your awning as I have no idea what your awning mounts look like or what hardware you used or what you plan on using. There is no brand, that’s why you couldn’t find it
