I fell like I make a good attempt at checking this thread. I don't always have time to reply to stuff, but I try to keep up. Lately I am realizing how not up to date I am with everyone.

I just register everything at the max amount of years possible lol. Motorcycle, 4Runner, Tacoma I think it’s like 80 a year for the rigs and 35 for the bike .

 

You can create a business in Montana and register your vehicles to it if you want. Perfectly legal. You don't have to live there either. Think it's like $50 to register the company each year. Many trucking companies and corps use it. Just whether you are cool with knowing your not paying your "fair share" in your own state. Just FYI.

 

I will follow up with my typical "I am going to have more time soon and will be back at it" when in realty I'll probably be a stranger until a week after the wedding .

The time has finally come at work! I will be driving to elk city this week to see if the snow is low enough to start my field season . I will just be planting willows, but getting out of the office will be a welcomed change.

 

Interesting. I wonder if your zip code plays a role in that. The tabs for the redhead were $180 last September.

 

Yeah i've seen lots of work trucks around northern wyo that have both wyo plates and mt plates. Never got that..

My dad told me before why they did that. I think its something about living in MT and working in wyoming so much. The vehicles are registered in MT but all the work is WY or ND.

There are a bunch of Seattle city limit taxes that we have to pay. Something like $60/yr. For a while, I registered the truck at work to avoid that; not that I can complain too much about not doing that now

For those of you who have done rigging, how would you go about righting this forklift.

The only one around? If you have a 2nd one be easy to fix.

Other wise not a real good way to do it without dropping the back wheel super hard.

Dual come along could do it too with the main arm still extended. Could use a truck in front with a chain come a long to slowly let it down after you get it up high enough with another perhaps attached to an I beam at the ceiling?

Could use your truck winch as one with a snatched block
