Auto Anything POOR Customer Service

    I recently placed an order with Auto anything.... It was my first and will be my last, this place is horrible with horrible customer service. I read many reviews that this was a great place, my experience would prove other wise. I ordered a set of weather tech window guards for my 2005 Tacoma. The arrived scratched all over, frankly the looked like they have been used before.

    When I called auto anything, they requested that I photo document the scratches in order to cover shipping... I have never heard of someone shipping you a faulty product then making you photograph the damages before they would cover shipping... If this was not bad enough, they sent me the wrong return address information, not once but twice.... I have spend the last 2 hours trying to get this mess figured out...

    Way too many parts stores out there to do business with these losers....

    fwiw iv ordered a bunch of stuff from them, and never had a problem. i can see why your aggravated, but out of the numerous items ive ordered, not a single problem for me.

    bone stock save for the block lift that came on it with the open country m/t.
    The one time I ordered something from them, the customer service was top notch, and my order shipped quickly. Sorry to hear about your bad experience.

    Just dispute the charges with your credit card company and end it. Don't stress over this, its not worth it.

    I've ordered from them a few times with no probs. Most of the stuff they sell is drop shipped, that is AA gets the order and then they send the order to the manufacturer and the manufacturer ships the item to the customer.

    I tried ordering the AFE Pro Dry air filter from them once... In spite of the fact that their web site says they ship to Canada, they wouldn't ship this particular product to Canada.

    I believe it was the manufacturer, and no one else seems to ship it here either... so I do understand that it's not their fault. Would still be nice if they posted it on the product page so you don't go through the whole process of creating an account, and entering the credit card/shipping info just to receive an email two days later saying the order has been canceled.

    A few additions to make me feel cool.
    I had bought several items from them with no issue until I ordered a toolbox from them a few years back. After I opened the box the box was dented in several locations, the packing was damage free so it had been packed after the damage. After calling they said that I could return it however I would have to pay for the shipping to PA. even though they had shipped the item from Corona just over two hours away from my location. After speaking to what seemed like the worlds largest haven of idiots I told them that I would not pay over $300 to ship the item however I would drive it back to there warehouse. I was told that I would not be permitted to do that so I lost my cool and hung up, the wife told me to calm down as I got in the truck, drove to Corona where I had a few choice words for the management. Long story short, I ended up selling the box and losing about $200 bucks in the long run and I will burn the Corona warehouse to the ground one day. I will never do business with those DB again.

    i am not real happy either, i ordered weather techs through them on April 17th i have not received any shipping info so i called today and guess what they lost my order!! no my card was not charged but now if i order from them i am going to the back of the line and will have a 10-14 wait again! guess i will be ordering direct this time.

    Got my westin platinum ovals for my 10 dc in under a week, good price.
    I think tracking thru Amazon is a bit lacking. That could be an issue with the amazon and third party interface.
    I Emailed and a CS Rep emailed men the tracking info.
    Overall good experience and would reorder from, again along with recommending to others.

    I actually have to say I'm pretty impressed with them so far, time will tell. I called this morning to order a CAI, cat-back exhaust and a UNICHIP. First guy to answer the phone took my order and completed everything within 2 minutes and 46 seconds. Granted I did have the Part Numbers straight of their website and ready to give them.
    Only complaint I had is the guy seemed monotone and like he didn't wanna be there, or he might've been hung over lol. but he answered all my questions top notch.

Im having kinda the same problem with the company Killer Glass, ordered a glass upper radiator hose from them Nov 14th they said it was shipped on the 16th still no product, they gave me a tracking # but when i enter it it says they have no # in usps system, so now im fighting with them to either get my money back or overnight me the part.. Fuckers

    I was about to make a post blowin down autoanything, but then i saw this thread and thought id add on to it. I just cancelled an order from autoanything for a westin sportsman grill guard. I ordered it new years eve. Then over a week later got an email saying they needed my banks phone number. I use a well known national bank that they could've gotten the number very easily, but i called them and gave it to them. Two days later it said order was processed and it would be shipped between 1/11 and 1/14 and not to contact them untill 2days after the 14th for a shipping number. then today (1/13) they pushed the estimated ship date back untill 1/19. which means i probably wouldnt recieve it untill a week later. I think its kinda crappy to order something and get it a whole month later, regardless of free shipping. I have ordered a lot of things from summit racing and gotten it a week later. Cancelled the order, called summit, and they told me I'll be recieving it next week. Don't know why i tried auto anything, i guess the free shipping looked appealing. live and learn. auto anything... more like auto nothin!!!!!!!!!! ohhhhhhhhh!!!!!! (thats right, i just did that!)
