Apt, but I was sticking with an outdoor theme.

@Noelie84 & @Pugga aren't fender flares meant for larger tires or is that just something F-150 drivers do?

    IMG_20180213_181442.jpg
Well pre-valentines day plans got ruined, Bruins game, by a flat from a pot hole larger than the car....I guess that's what I get for letting her say we're taking her car....womens

He probably had larger tires when he installed the flares, and downsized later due to funds/winter tire set/etc. Saw it a lot when I worked retail; guys would come in looking for a replacement set, find out how much they cost, and go to something smaller (and cheaper)

That flat tire must have been karma for mocking Ford drivers :stirthepot:

Edit- Why the flatbed, though? Does she not have a spare? Or did you damage something suspension/steering related too?

Haha everything was going too smoothly so the flat was the wrench getting thrown.

But her car doesn't have a spare, has the spot for one but it's filled with foam, a compressor and some slime that doesn't work. Trust me if there was a spare we would have made it to the game. The pothole claimed 3 cars in a 5 minute span.

I used to be able to do that but, the carport it's sitting under doesn't have any outlets that I could use. I'm pretty sure my apartment complex wouldn't want me running extension cables down from the 4th floor

That annoys me about newer cars now. The GF's Mustang is the same way.

I have one of those solar panel battery maintainers I keep on the dash of the F'n'J when it sits for a while.
Plugs into the OBD port and works like a charm.

I just pull my batteries if they're going to be sitting. The battery for the '69 and for the boat are both in the basement on a maintainer right now. Always did the same with the bikes when they got put away for the year.

Edit- Although actually at the old house the whole bike used to come inside, since we had that huge walk-in cellar that we weren't utilizing. The Ninja used to go into the laundry room and the Suzuki would go in the main room. Guests used to think I was crazy
