Well, I called in a favor and got to measure up a 3rd generation just now . I'll be doing some size adjustments tonight and getting a picture up with styles and pricing. From the response I see there is a definite demand for these. Knowing that, I think I can pretty much look at it like a group buy and offer some good prices. Packing and shipping is about $14 which will be a decent chunk. But I'll do my best . Stay tuned.

Kinda wish to get a kit that covered most of the hood. Sorry for my shitty line work. Lap board and over sized mouse lol..

Anyone know what type of font the “TRD OFF ROAD” might be?

I have another idea (because I’m inpatient and bored at home) haha.

If I can get the font, I can print it on my computer, cut it out, put it on the hood, mask the rest of the hood for the shape and just use some plasti-dip. Seems easy enough. Or use some TRD stickers then remover them after I plasti-dip the hood.

Okay, many hours logged on this tonight. I think there are some good options here. I was able to measure the 2nd round of the 2nd generations , 2012 to 2015 and they match the 2005 and up. So I updated that listing as well.

 

That might be a possibility. I have to check my file and see what the width was. 47" is my maximum width I can cut . If it's less,it can be done. I'll check tomorrow.

 

Do the top ones follow the contour lines of the hood? Does it sit inside the recessed area, or follow the upper ridge?

 

dont want to be an ass but is there anyway to give me a rough idea of how long the different lengths are for the 3rd gens? Im just thinking of measuring my hood to see where it would come out and which one I want. I like the wide one but I feel that is too much. was thinking I would like that better so the TRD part would be over the body line more facing the side view much too much decal for me and my hood.

I can give you the length tomorrow. Shut my computer down for the night. 5 a.m. coming real soon on the east coast. All but the extra wide will stay inside the recessed area of the hood body lines. The longest I believe was just about 2" short of the front of the hood . And the middle one ends just where the raised body lines fade out . Hope that helps for now.

I've probably missed it somewhere, but is there a 'how to install' video/tutorial? I'm very interested in this concept to get rid of the hood glare, and I dig the look. I've only done the wet method vinyl installs on small stuff (3rd gen tailgate lettering and Pro grille lettering). A full hood piece seems intimdating and I'd rather DIY instead of paying a shop if possible.
