I believe the car wash brushes may have too much pressure against the truck. I think Toyota should put a warning label these trucks , not to run them through a car wash. I agree with the beer can analogy, the metal is too thin.

I wouldn't put the blame on the metal construction of the bed for damage that looks like that, that's a ridiculus statement

The Carwash denies that their wash did the damage. Now I have to Lawyer up. The worst part is , I live in MI and it is a no fault state and consequently my insurance will be going up 42 present. That's really bad for someone on a fixed income.

What's the estimate for the damage? Hiring a decent lawyer is probably going to cost you far more money and time and than just getting it fixed.

Weeelllllll, most car washes have disclaimer signs up stating they're not responsible for damage done to vehicles. I hope you win!!!!!

Very thin sheet metal and probably too much pressure from those brushes.

OP you stated that both quarter panels got caved in but you are only showing the passenger side, can you post some pics of the driver side quarter panel?

he didn't notice that both left and right quarter panels were caved into this degree, one quick glance in a side view mirror I would have noticed this damage.
