Too poor to list anything interesting.
Simple. Line goes up, means good. Line goes down, means bad.

    Correct

LTC at 0.023100 BTC, so if BTC was anywhere near where it was back in early Jan. Litecoin at 0.023100 x 17,000 = $392/token

I'm too much of a cheapskate to gamble in a casino. Even at penny and nickle slots. Crypto is super out there for me.

If you think of it like an exchange, BTC is like gold.

I'm not sure I do to be honest.
I get that if a coin is going up relative to btc, then I'd rather have that coin than btc and vice versa.
However, until I can pay my mortgage and buy a significant amount of the things I want and need with crypto, my concern is chiefly the USD value of my portfolio.

Using LTC/BTC as an example, if LTC/BTC is going down but both LTC/USD and BTC/USD are going up, I'm making USD with LTC even though I'd be making more with BTC. I'm wearing a happy face and considering wether or not to trade some LTC for BTC.
Conversely, if LTC/BTC is going up but both LTC/USD and BTC/USD are going down, I'm losing USD. I'm just losing less of it than I would if I were in BTC. I'm wearing a sad face and considering my life choices.

If Litecoin was created to be 4x faster than BTC, then shouldn't Litecoin be valued at 0.25 BTC instead of 0.023 BTC?

the only reason both LTC/USD and BTC/USD are going up is because of BTC. BTC is the back bone and will always reign supreme

It should but it is a highly undervalued coin and will easily be 0.2 BTC by next year. This stuff takes time of course

    You think so?
It seems bloated, slow, expensive and unwieldy compared to some of the alts.
It was the first but I wonder if it won't be like the AOL of crypto some day.

Possibly someday but not within the next few years. Bitcoin will be close to $50k by the end of the year

It probably does to an extent. But not to much right now. Crypto is still new and unregulated for the big players in stocks to really want ot get involved.

On another note Litecoin has a hard fork coming Sunday....sounds a bit scammy but if one is smart and understands wallets and keys it would be pretty easy to get some free coins......granted said coins might be worthless lol

Meh Im not going to base something being a scam based on a founder of a coin saying a fork is a scam. Ill base it more on the actual people doing the forking....which make it look like a scam or least not a very good team :)

and like i said as long as you actually understand wallets and keys your LTC would be safe

True, the article just confirms it, saw it as a scam last week when I looked into the fork
