Another new guy from Maryland

Hi I have a 2007 doublecab TRD. I have wanted to lift this thing since new, but im not a millionaire. So I had to wait till the stock tires wore down some. Now I have about 900.00 to spend on tires and a lift i want to go with 265/75-16's on stock wheels, likely duratracs.

Im just confused on lifts. I dont mind installing myself. but I keep hearing the spacers are not the way to go any other alternitives out there that will fit in my buget. Thanks John

a toytec lift....coils up front...aal's in the rear will be the best solution. do do the spacers......you wont like the crap ride they give........and the lift i mentioned is about $300.

 

Welcome to TW!!! Yeah most people would say stay away from spacer lifts. You can go with a coil lift in the front and AAL's in the rear. Essentially it would be best to swap the shocks to but you can do that down the road. I say if your gonna do it, do it right the first time.

I have 265/70R17s on stock rims, no lift (just a little bit of trimming) and love the look.
