I am thinking of running the Hieroglyphic Mountains Loop trail with a few jeeps. Has anyone ran this trail? is it doable? My Az backroads trail book says short wheel base and i have a 14 DCSB is this short enough? Last week I ran the Wickenburg Mountain loop trail and tagged my rear stock bumper crossing one of the washes.

 

Go run it and find out. Worse case scenario you find out you need armor. If you don't want it then I got a rear stock bumper I will sell you. Problem solved

Speaking of armor I need to finally get around to putting more armor on my truck.

Sliders and something to cover my trans pan at the very least. Trans pan cover is gonna have to be custom, but I have a rough idea of how to hash it out and use the existing frame braces as anchors.

I really want to get a beefy chase rack made up too. Not sure if what I have in my head is actually feasible though...

But tweaked such that 3rd brake light clearance isn't an issue, ease up on the cross bracing so it doesn't eat up bed space, and the rear legs stretched a bit longer bed-wise so the sides can maybe have some sort of fill plate.

Oh and a pintle mount for various crew-served weaponry. You bet your ass I'ma roll technical style.

Sedona is boring man. Full of liberal hippy freaks who rape tourists with ridiculous prices on just about everything. Take her some place fun and adventurous like Tonto Natural Bridge, Lava River Caves or Grand Canyon Caverns. Just take her to a nice restaurant one of the nights for some one on one time. The adventure destination are more both your styles anyway.

I've been out there once, and it was on the way to Flagstaff when I was visiting AZ to decide if I wanted to move out here.
It's pretty as hell, and I do eventually want to get one of those glass sculptures they make, but I can't see going out there too often.
