If the Supra has anything comparable to the current turbo N55 thats in the M2, id be happy.
Honestly that wouldnt be out of the question, its a good chance that it will have the same N55 in the M2, or at least an N55 varaint.
Whatevers in it, Im gonna drive the first Supra that hits my dealership :burnrubber:

I drove a 228i with the 4 cylinder and that car was darn fun. I would like to say I would look into testing a Supra when they come out, but looking at how they were priced in the 90s there is no way I could afford one.

That is a photoshopped pic of the FT-1, specifically the door is different and they tried to edit down the size of the air intake behind the door.

When I get my Supra first mod is putting a big ass SCOOP decal in that font to put on the hood.

I’ve driven a friends m2, only with the DCT, but it was a blast. Great handling, power, and response.
I also have an advantage with test driving the new Supra, as I am employed by a Toyota dealership haha !

I owned a Lexus GS300 with the Supra I6 derived engine. Got dang that thing was fast. 156 mph governed, I had it up to 140 for a brief stretch. That was a smooth motor. Straight-six with dual exhaust headers. That was a nice machine. It built speed fast, floor it and you would be at 100mph fast and smooth doing it. Nice engine sound, I6's sound better than a V6 to my ear. Had a nice growl downshifting.

It will probably be priced cheaper than its platform-mate BMW Z4. Can't be much more expensive than a 370Z (which is $40-45k once you tick the usual option packages).

Bimmerpost insider has said the car will be well below the Z4. The Outgoing model is priced at $50k-$65k I believe. So I think $40k-$50k is reasonable.

Crazy how the Supra cost that much back in like 97. I can’t imagine a new Supra depreciating very fast either, but I wonder if it’ll stay more expensive than say a Camaro 2SS.

I hope it does, me and friend we're thinking of shoving in a 2JZ into one a few years down the road.

$40k-$50k was a lot more money back in 1997. But having a lower price didn't really help - the Camaro was also killed after 2002; it just got resurrected faster (2010).
