    Also, completely unrelated to the thread, but somewhat related to the current topic. While I was stripping up the breast for jerky I found this.


    Yep, that’s a pellet for an air rifle. But it didn’t come from an air rifle. It came out of a Winchester xpert steel #2. Wtf? I’m a firm believer in shooting the cheapest shit I can find, but damn. Haha.

    And no, it wasn’t an old wound where some kid had shot him with his pellet gun earlier in life. Obviously a fresh hole I dug it out of.

    Figured you’d appreciate that.

    A buddy of mine sent me this screenshot and asked if we've ever found this place in our LBL adventures. Anyone got any clues? I'm down to search for it. I see in the bottom right pic it says "Crab Creek area". I'll see if I can find it on the map.

    Cliff notes, spoiler alert!












    To get there from the Trace, take LBL 112 1.7 miles to LBL 120. Go to the GPS coordinates of 36.98377'N / 88.14180'W. It is a little over a mile down LBL 120. At those coordinates, you'll see an old impassible road going right. Park there and go about 0.1 to 0.2 miles, following the trail. The structure is at 36.98716'N / 88.142'W.
