Tube bender on the way, tube notcher ordered dry cut chop saw being bought Thursday.

Finally going to have the ability to do tube work like I’ve been asked a few times.

Never been but its a good ways from chipley. Just outside of bay county, every said they have stuff for all kinds of wheeling

 

Its up near pensacola, only open 2 Saturdays a month. Maybe I should just get my shit together to go to AOP in April, at least that’s worth the travel.

 

Got word from Eddy at SOS. My bumper will be ready for pickup tomorrow. Looks like I'll be grabbing it on my way home from NC.

My reasoning for getting the HC with swingout was 1) dragging my hitch (and trailer connector) the first time I went to Citrus, and 2) my full size spare doesn't fit under the bed anymore (even after taking a BFH to the tabs). And, I figured after drilling that big-ass hole for the snorkel, the bedsides weren't safe anymore.

 

Ask him if my HC rear is ready yet.

I noticed the other day I dented the rear fender at citrus. Putting a order in tomorrow for a HC 20% off sale

Being a 1st Gen, dragging my ass over terrain is just going to have to be a fact of life since I don't want to lose cargo capacity by bobbing the bed. I honestly expected to have done my rear bumper first since it takes the lion's share of the abuse, but I ended up doing the front first. I eventually want to do a high clearance rear to give me a slightly better departure angle and be a lot more durable, but that's a little bit down the road still.

I've waited years to finally do the bumpers and I'm thrilled to finally make some progress. All it took was the realization that the OGT breaks driveline components way to easily to ever take it out of state so regearing fell way done on the priority list of mods.

Hey guys, bit random but anyone running an ultra guard mine telling me there standard engine temp doing around 75mph? I’m running 33’s and a king lift with a topper and mostly around 190-194 at 230pm with an outside air temp of about 85degrees on the highway. Just wondering what’s “high” or even optimal.
