That’s crazy. It takes the installer 15 min to install and that unit might cost them 100 bucks at most. Unless they are not doing a plug and play.

 

I hope no one, they put that on the add on sticker when up selling wheels.

 

he said its a 3 hour install.(yeah right). I bought my truck on thursday and picked it up done on friday.

yeah i watched that. no matter. it didnt cost me anything to get so didnt matter how long they took. I mean we pay for it in the long run no matter what cause nothing is free of course.

They told me 3 /4 hrs on monday for mine too

 

I couldnt drive my truck away the day I bought it anyway so them having it to do it the next day was fine. I live in MA and bought it in NH so they got my plates from ma for me the next morning while the starter was being installed then I went and picked it up.

 

I was waiting since January when I bought mine,they gave me a yellow IOU slip for the starter,like I said i'll go with it ,it was free and 3/36 warranty just that im going to hate having a extra fob on the keychain.

 

yeah i dont like that part either. it is only about 1 1/2 x 2 inch or so. close to that or so. so pretty small.

 

I just Installed my Viper DS4+ on the weekend. I can either use my Phone (it includes Bluetooth Smart Start), 3xlock from my OEM Remote or I can use the 7756v 2 way remote that it comes with it.

 

is it a plug and play or you had to splice some wires? also, how much was it in total without the 2 way remote?

 

It is not plug and play, you do have to integrate the wiring into the vehicle. (I'll PM you for the pricing)

Had surgery the other day and havent left my house since friday, so hadnt looked at remote since my last comment about the remote put in my 18 last week upon delivery.

 

I dont understand why Toyota has to have the vehicle shut off when the door is open. should just make it where you need to put your foot on the brake and press the push start button or something before putting it in gear, or else the truck shuts off. My compustar on my integra needed key in foot on brake, in that order.
