    Yeah, I agree. The other issue is when I do go on a hiking trip I can't always bring a dog anyway--Katahdin doesn't allow them, for instance. Other times, it's a day trip with friends and a 4 hour drive, and we go out to eat after the hike. I'd feel bad having the dog cooped up in the truck that long.

    wow the fact you purchased it new adds a bit more head scratching to everything
    I have a used stoeger coach gun and have always kinda worried about the longevity being as I was not the original owner

    kinda the age old question, how many rounds is too many rounds and when should a piece be retired

    I am always kinda amazed at people who regularly shoot old firearms
