I used mine the other day sideways to sand something by hand. Belt moved over and gouged the trailer. Removed some paint too. Had to adjust the tracking a tad.

I used a belt sander recently too.

I watched a guy rip his finger off with one. He didn’t want to unplug it before changing a belt.

I've got 2 of the 4x24's. Can't kill them either. Awesome sanders. One needs a part for the tracking. Other one is still practically new.

You know the Grass European hinges for cabinets? Well the machine that you use to drill the cabinet doors for them drills a 35mm and 2 5mm holes at one time. Was standing there waiting to use it and the guy in front of me catches his hand on one of the 5mm bits. Pulls his whole hand into the bits. I ended up taking him to the acute care they said to take him to and then to the orthopedic hospital.
