I think I like the sunroof cause its rare. But every vehicle I've had with one I never use it, cruiser has one and I only open once in a blue moon and at night cause during the day it's a glary annoyance.

Sunroof is both a blessing and a curse. It's nice to open up when it gets hot in the cab. Unfortunately, it let's in a bunch of sun, which makes it hot in the cab. (and worse, it heats up your head - sometimes I have to wear a hat, just to get a bit of shade; even in PNW)

It's nice as a vent at night but the sunlight right overhead causes lots of glare and makes things even hotter than they already are. I never used it in the Maxima either because of that. I feel like in a vehicle that was never really intended to have one like the Tacoma it is also a leak waiting to happen cause they lack the internal drain rails that vehicles initially designed for one have.

So it turns out the main ground for the truck on the engine block was that thick cable after all - I traced it down to right under the oil filter.

I'm guessing that's where my cut mystery wire grounded originally but someone at some point replaced the ground wire with heavy gauge welding wire.

So that solves the mystery. Now do I still have to ground that cut cable or leave it alone?

Just to reiterate - there's only two wires connected to the ground post. That heavy gauge wire that grounds under the oil filter and the small gauge wire that grounds on the fender.

I guess I don’t understand the issue. I can get on here from my laptop through chrome and not have a problem.

Same with my phone (iPhone), I noticed when I type fast stuff gets jumbled, but I’ve been blaming that on fat fingers and an old ass bent phone.

No, it's like the auto correct stuff. It'll take what you're typing and do some wierd shit with it. It's just like a bug or aomesomet
    ^
Take that for instance. Just happened. I typed something, but accidentally started it with an "a" instead of an "s" and when you press space, it usually auto corrects. But it spit that cluster of a word out instead lol.
