    I don't "go into" work as I do most of my stuff from home besides the landscaping work, but I have found if I get my shit going around 5-6 am I can get all my email and paperwork done before most people wake up. I have a flexible schedule, but it allows me to be done with work by 12-2 most days, unless I have some later meetings planned in the day.

    "Early bird gets the worm" is 100% right.

    I shoot for 6:30, most show up after 7:30.

    There's a defense contractor here who I believe allows employees to work whatever hours they want as long as they put in whatever time is required. Whenever I drive by, it appears they all choose to show up at 9:30 or 10. Why would you want to do that if you have the option of being there at 5 or 6 and leaving 4 hours earlier?
