You were one of the main reasons I was thinking that if it had a bigger profile that it would benefit actual cargo up top due to less of a MPG hit. Wow man, I guess we burst that bubble then. I think even if I didn't have a light bar I would remove the wind fairing as although it looks good, its not worth the ornamental function of it.

But most things on my ride are dictated by function.

I'm sure it will help a once you put stuff on top. But with nothing on it I doubt it does anything.

Considering it only give about 2-4 inches of additional coverage, I doubt it will be worth it unless I have a snowboard attached to the roof. My rack will normally be naked though outside of hauling stuff like kayaks down the road so practicality for me further reinforces my current approach.

Right and no reason to as it isn't blocking anything anymore. I like how yours is with the lower profile RTT location.

I've been called a movement before. I didn't think they were very nice for saying that.....

Oh wait that's different, what kind of movement do you want to start?

So...finally get to add some real BROness to the ride!

I picked up some turd gen emblems off ebay for $48 for a set of two. A fellow member is finalizing his modification that I will eventually throw on for mine! I plan to remove the "Tacoma" portion on the bottom of the doors and then replace with this...I will remove the "RO" portion as well and paint it similar in color to match the king blue that I have on my bedside decals.

Normally I could care less about aesthetics, but this shit just makes sense.

I feel the same, but wonder if the "newish" flashy border of the emblem will look a little weird for a second gen...but fuck it man.

Yea they will, by it being blue instead of red on my red truck should really stand out when they realize it says "BRO."

What about just buying individual letters like @boogie3478 did for his tacomaholic door badges?

I have thought about that, but I like this idea since many have the "TRD BRO" meme as it is on here, Im sure it will confuse many on the road. Might as well get fully retarded if Im going for ornament mods in this case.
