Funny story- Got the GF a bottle of 1800 tequila (she likes it but doesn't buy it very often since it's almost $30 a bottle around here), a fancy cupcake from the local bakery, and a couple of bars of fancy Lindt and Godiva chocolate for valentine's last night.
She got me a 6 pack of boxer shorts from wal-mart and a terrible skinamax porn from around 1993 that she found at the local smoke shop. I was just like "uh...thanks, honey...."

The ridiculous thing is, the dealership will put a fresh set on that truck, put it on the lot, and sell it to some poor unsuspecting bastard without telling him about how the skid plates got mangled.

 

My condolences to your sleep schedule and sex life, lol.

I imagine there is more to the story than meets the eye. Honestly, who's stealing what are likely stock wheels and tires from a non-TRD level truck? And putting the lugs back on for safe keeping? It was likely done by the dealership for some reason, stealing from Peter to pay Paul type of thing. You'd think a dealership would protect the truck and put it on blocks but assuming they would do the right thing makes an ass out of you and me.

 

I'd quicker think that whoever stole the wheels left the lug nuts all over the ground, and a dealership employee threaded them onto the lugs for safe keeping until they get a replacement set of wheels on there; I'd like to think that a dealership would at least use a set of jack stands under the frame rather than a milk crate under the rocker panel. But, like you say, assume...

 

I've caught bass bigger than that, but she sounds like a keeper! Congrats to you even though she did most the work!

 

Just looked at their inventory and they don't seem to have it listed. Only Silver SR5 they have are access cabs. Guessing there is more to the story, too. But who knows

 

Yeah, we had someone years ago who claimed our clocks were 3 minutes later than reality even though it was proven many times that they were dead on. So, they'd show up 3 minutes late every day to try to prove a point but still left at "normal" time. How does that make sense?

I think eventually I am going to get the full set of skids from your peeps... just not sure when.

 

As for sleep m getting very little since three days ago but luckily I didn't usually drink caffeine so coffee and energy drinks can certainly give me a kick. Both mom and baby originally ran a temp but both are fine. Breastfeeding isn't really going will but we are still awaiting the lactation lady to come.

 

I'm at the broke stage waiting for my bonus and taxes to come in....
