Right there with you. Was up from 12:30-1, then 3:30-4:30 and back again for good at 6:15. She’s getting better but now will sleep through the night but wake up at 4:45-5. Those days suck.

Wife wants to know if your wife had bad heart burn during pregnancy?
My wife had really bad heart burn with her second and she was born with a full head of hair too. She is trying to make a correlation.

That’s a common wives tale. But, yes, she had heartburn. Not bad. But every time she had it, she would swear out baby was gonna have a full head of hair. The scientific truth of it is there is no correlation. Just coincidence that a bunch of physical changes are happening.

My wife did the “cry it out” for both our kids.

After the first night on my first child I bailed and went camping. She’s made of sterner stuff than me. Plus my stress was making her stress so she more or less kicked me out.

    Worked with our kids though.

    That and a consistent “sleep-eat-play” cycle/schedule.

I know this life well. Hence hardwood floors now. Plus, the repeat offender is no longer of this world (unfortunately. I miss that dumb knucklehead every damn day). I’ve come home to a couch in pieces with stuffing trailing out into the backyard...

The one on the left had some “issues”. That fucker ate everything when I wasn’t around. Severe separation anxiety. He even ate the metal kennel. He ended up on Prozac. I never thought I’d have a medicated dog. He was my wife’s little boy. He was the most cuddle oriented dog I’ve ever come across.

The one on the right is my little Lulu girl. Best damn dog I’ve ever had. It’s gonna destroy me when she leaves us.

Love the bullies. Sad that dogs lives are so brief. Had my heart broken a handful of times. This is Kezar, my gas station hero.
