We live in an age where everyone is just looking for something to complain about to get attention.

I claim 0, and I get thousands back. Having kids help.

My ex used to use a local guy. Small office, been doing taxes forever. He made H&R seem cheap.

 

Yeah but kids cost a lot too haha

 

Got mine for free.....they sure do eat a lot though.

 

getting them is cheap.... keeping them not so much

 

If you think about it, getting them still ins't cheap though... "courting" the lady, all the money you spend doing that... engagement ring, wedding, etc... still tons of $$$$$$$$$

Unless you just bang out a one night stand and call it a day.

 

Start saving, it's just a short time before you have one in the oven.

 

Getting rid of them costs a pretty penny too...

Agreed, way over priced for someone who in general is just being an input monkey.

 

You could go through and see how it goes. You don't pay till you actually file.

 

Plus in your situation after that box is closed for so long, the cost of all those socks adds up as well.

 

Thats what were leaning towards for that reason. Its a long weekend this weekend so we'll probably sit down and give it a shot.

Mine definitely cost me the yearly deductible for insurance, then a decent amount for his stay at the hospital while wife recovered from a c-section. Apparently once they are born, they become their own being that insurance needs to cover (I knew this, but didn't connect the dots until we got yet another bill in the mail from the hospital).

Without insurance, I would most likely be close to bankruptcy right about now - definitely did not get him for free lol.

 

At least you get a long weekend! I may WFH if the girlfriend gets it off.

Yeah! New Orleans has amazing food, and Lafayette for the more traditional Cajun meals.

Oh, you mean up here? No, not really. It's already hard to find spicy food, and you usually have to persuade the waitress to emphasize to the cooks that you're not talking about "Yankee Spicy". Finding traditional Cajun food is pretty tough. I've been to quite a few places in Boston that advertise themselves as Cajun but aren't really.

Red Bones in Davis Sq has good southern food, and Sweet Cheeks in Fenway has great Texas BBQ. I usually go to one of those to get my Southern fix. They are consistently good, but not very true to what you'd get down south.

Or you could just come over when I cook!
