Maybe next year. I've already got two fishing trips planned for this year and a baby due any minute now. No way I'm poking that bear for another trip, haha.

Oh yeah...we don’t need angry postpartum mamas with baby’s in tow looking for you (I’ve been there).

Congrats on the kiddo and we’ll look forward to next year!

I don’t recall exact dollar amount but do know I was just short (<$100) of breaking even. I sold the GT140 with a CVT cold weather hood and a CVT anti-condensation mat.

Wouldn’t be a bad idea. You could always make one of a few specific lures and just see if anyone bites and then make to order. Wouldn’t hurt and you wouldn’t lose money because you wouldn’t have to make 100 like you do with patches.

I like the logo on the front like Scotty said. Then maybe just the website in a smaller font across the top of the back so it suffices everyone’s wants. Also a light grey w/black letters would look good.

@silasvirus82 when you went out with Bay Street Outfitters to kayak fish, where did you guys launch from and end up fishing at that put you on the fish?

I’m local here and @Blackout14 definitely wants to fish the structure and creeks at Knowles Island Pier one day. Another day I was thinking Pigeons Point in Beaufort or Shelter Cove in Hilton Head but wanted to see where the guides take people.

Wow I was dead for like 24 hrs and this really blew up had like 4 pages to read through! Damn nasty ass ear infection and 102+ fever! My ear looks like it got hit by Mayweather a few times.

    A few key notes:

I would buy the t-shirt. I guess from spending a ton of time on the water fishing recreationaly and commercially I could go either way either a short sleeve or the spf long sleeve, I am use to cooking out in the sun. I will probably be one of those old leathered skinned types with skin cancer!

Not sure about the soft plastics I have come to realize fishing in many states and lakes/river systems that really what works for @Blackout14 up in PA may not work for me down here. Now if you were to have some input from locals in different areas and market the plastics for certain areas that would be a good idea.

I use to cast my own jig heads and such but found it too tedious now I really only cast lead weights for salt water fishing but if you have some good designs then I would love to try some out especially the bigger ones. I really want a large jig head but it be around 3/8-1/2 oz but be the size of like a 3/4 or so. I can really put some large swim baits on for these big bull reds but I don't need the weight just size.

If you get motion sickness and take dramamine for some it's like benadryl and will make you sleep. If you don't have sea legs or a strong stomach it may not be fun.

Turkey season in the spring  That will never make sense to me NC is the same way. I hope we will eventually open it up to a fall season as well. I hardly see any turkeys from spring through summer, late summer-early spring I see them all over.

The dizzy stuff almost sucks worse than just hurling and getting it over with. I can't say I've ever been sick that I can remember. Fished in king mack tournaments where half the guys stayed in and we were out in 6-8 fters and pulled long lines in worse conditions than that.

Could have an Ascend 12T at a good deal from a guy I work with! Hoping I get a bro price on it!

    Stay tuned!

I did not go kayak fishing with Bay Street, we took out one of their Mavericks from the docks there in Beaufort. What I was suggesting is that you tell them your situation and they could maybe show you some spots that have good kayak access.

So, concerning some spots, it all depends on what you’re after. For cobia there is a launch right at the BR bridge. For fishing flats and oyster bars there are many launches to choose from. My favs were the launches at Paris Island, Fripp Inlet, and Wharf St.

I wouldn’t recommend that kayak for anything but protected waters. Get it into the wind or any type of current and you’ll be fighting it, and probably loosing. Just my $.02.

The ascends for an entry level kayak are not bad at all. I have paddled the 128t and the 12t. In my experience the 12t is much more agile and easy to maneuver the 128t is like a big heavy barge. What you really pay for in the higher end yaks is really hull design and better materials and fit and finish. The 128t weighs as much as my Cuda HD but my Cuda is almost triple the price. The Cuda is much easier to get moving keep moving and has a higher top speed for me. I don't think you will go wrong with the 12t as a beginner yak just be prepared to want to upgrade soon if you really like yak fishing if you only go out a handful of times a yr. no sense in spending the big $$$$ for one of the higher end ones unless you can find a really good deal on a used one.
