I ordered my kit a couple of days ago for my 2gen, and am on the fence on whether to get an AAL and which one. Any information or thoughts on the Wheeler's 1.5" AAL (single leaf)?

Shoot, I would't even mind paying 50 or 60 bucks for shipping. They have the best deal ive seen so far.

I emailed them back and ask how much would it be for shipping. waiting on an answer, still better than Evans they want 654 here locally with taxes.

I talked to my local toyota guy about the Thompson MD price and he said that theirs is literally at cost and he didn't know why they'd even sell it at that price to begin with. Might be why they don't wanna deal with anything but in store pickup. My local place would do 570 though so I encourage people to talk to their local dealer and show them the MD price and see what they can do.

Measurements (before TRD PRO) on a stock 2017 Tacoma TRD OR. Hopefully this post and the one before this can answer a lot of questions. I will do pictures after the install this weekend. Also for the measurements I rounded a little. Mostly because I am going from center of the hub. I could have been a 16th of an inch off in places. Also full tank of gas just filled it up and my garage does have a little slope to it so that will also affect measurements.

I shot the Thompson MD price at my local dealer and they came back with $575 but weren't clear about the shipping cost. I wrote back, awaiting answer.

Is anyone doing this with the 1inch TRD Baja-1b spacer up front? I think thats the route I'm gonna take as I really wanna get to about 2 inchs of lift in the front. After the Headstrong Progressive 3 leaf AAL, Kit itself and spacer, I'm coming out to 897 which is still over 300 cheaper then the 6112 kit that basically does the same thing.

Not sure how the 3rd gens work out, but that definitely too tall for my 2nd gen. Don't like my alignment #'s at 2". They are in spec though. Maybe not too tall with my extra weight. I did think about the 1/4" top spacer, for an extra 1/2", though. May see how it looks with everything.

Anybody else with some weight up front, doing this lift? My bumper is nothing crazy. Think i am around 100-120 or so, with winch.

From what I garnered I only get about 1 inch from this setup up front by itself, So I'd be gaining 2 inchs total if I do the TRD spacer. Which is exactly what I want plus I doubt an inch spacer is really gonna effect my ride quality offroading any if it all, but someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I WOULD THINK THAT A DIFF DROP KIT, SWAY BAR RELOCATION KIT AND A DRIVER SIDE .25" SPACER WOULD BE REQUIRED TO MAKE THIS LIFT SUPER SOLID AND RELIABLE. OR IS THE AMOUNT OF LIFT IN THIS CASE NOT AN ISSUE?

To quote myself (feels weird) my local dealer says $575 out the door so I'm going to get on that train.

I don't think that dog door in the top right is going to fit those guys.
