I don't know, I really like stock wheels for balancing so I never looked for them when I had a tire that could run on a 7" wheel.

Man, I've been pondering the same thing. My truck sits in the driveway 99.9% of the time, I work from home and don't need a car payment sitting in the driveway. I have enough equity to get out of it and into a 4runner, GX, Cruiser, etc. About the time I think I've made up my mind to either keep or sell, I change my mind. After driving 9-10 different Cruisers the past week (all 100s), I was on the "keep" frame of mind until I started thinking about V8 4runners and GXs. When I finally do figure it out, I'll have the Taco paid off. Maybe I should sell my Cougar and get an old FJ40 instead, although my wife would prefer I sell the Cougar and get some dirt bikes instead.

I paid off the truck last year. It just sits in my driveway as well, I make the 1/2 mile commute to work in a Honda Accord my parents gave me. Whenever we go somewhere as a family we take the Sequoia. Been thinking about selling the Tacoma to get a 3rd gen runner and keeping the Honda or selling the Tacoma and Accord for a gx470 or v8 4Runner. I am hoping some deal comes up that I can't turn down and will make my decision easy. That gx470 I showed everybody is right at the ragged edge of making me jump on a plane to go buy it but I ideally want to stay under $10k. But I keep coming back to it...

Truck's paid off and a great platform to turn into a solid expo rig.

Toss a locker or two and some proper suspension on it and you're good to go.

That's the problem, if I kept the truck I would need suspension front and rear, rear locker and a rear bumper. If I sold it for $14,500 then I would have a paid off gx470 to start fresh on. I haven't spent the big money on the truck yet so now would be the time to switch. Not after I get the stuff for the Tacoma because I will never get that money back.

If you're set on the SUV vs pickup... Clean the truck up and list it for a little higher than you think you'll get for it. That way you should have cash in hand when the deal comes up that you want.

So I just left the emissions place and they said they were unable to complete my testing because a few of my obd monitors were “not ready” and I need to do a drive cycle to get them ready. Any idea what that’s all about?

I think I’ve got it figured out. Does anybody have some O2 simulators I can borrow for a few days?

They are not bad. I have the pro 4runner kit on my wife's 4runner. Toytech made, not sure if they still do, a kit to modify them for a 2" lift.
