I'm open for something on either day .
Never been to Green Ridge and wouldn't mind checking it out. Sleepy Creek is close and is always fun.
If the trail runs fall through, I'm probably gonna head up to the cove and do some shooting if the weather is decent. pew pew pew!

    A thing or two...
Need some advice. I picked up a vibration after the Bald Mountain trip. I've been ignoring it, but I've noticed some changes, so it's about time to do something about it. My mostly uneducated guess is the carrier bearing or u-joints, but I don't know how to tell if they're bad.

The vibration comes on around 40 MPH and is worse around 50-60 MPH. At about 70 MPH, the vibration lessens a good bit. If I'm off the gas, the vibration goes away. At light throttle, the vibration is different than at heavier throttle.

The new noise is a rubber squeaking sound when I take off from a stop and accelerate at low speed. I can't hear it after about 30 MPH.

Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

I’d be down to do green ridge if it’s safe without sliders or skids...sliders are almost done. Should be done next week!

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
Hmmmm... I could be interested... As long as someone has recovery gear, and I won't need skids... Still waiting for powder coat...

Can stock trucks get through the Cove? I have actually never been, although have had plenty of friends tell me about it.

Green Ridge is just forest roads. No need for sliders/skids/etc.

I went out to Green Ridge this past Nov with @EatSleepTacos, @AR15xAR10, and a few other MD guys. It's an interesting place to cruise around and there's camping out there as well. There were only a couple of muddy hills that I couldn't make it up in my prerunner.

Yeah ,a stock truck can make it easy. Sometimes there a few bad washouts ,but nothing you make it through if you take your time. Its a fun spot. I should probably go there more.
$17 and you can stay there as long a you like !:infantry:

Have NO IDEA why you would have picked up any type of vibration after that trip! I mean it was so smooth you tackled every obsticle with ease. You didnt even have to get down on it.

Well finially got the IFS on the truck. I didn’t know my stock skids was tore up. Guess I’m alittle rougher than I thought.
