Still, I want this redneck girl I know, you know the kind that has the name on the back of her belt and can drink you under the table. That's so hot she should be shaking her ass in a Motley Crue video. The heart wants what the heart wants, but logic says over-ruled

I really enjoyed my GTS 6MT Celica. Daily drove and 29-30 MPG every single tank. Long freeway trips I could get 35 mpg. You can pick up a nice clean one for cheap now.

doubt my integra is considered a "sporty" car but its what im rocking. bought it stupid cheap and have now dumped way to much in it (its practically new excluding body/interior). 230whp/2500lbs

debated the brz/frs i just didnt want a car payment. havent driven one yet either though.

its not the fastest thing but itll be fun on a roadcourse.

and my tacoma is slower than molasses.

I usually refrain from posting in 3rd gen section but I'll make an exception.

The FA-20 is a proven platform for the car and a proven engine design, where do you get "junk" from? The horizontally opposed 4 cylinder allows for a center of gravity that's only about 16" off the ground. The car is very sure-footed to put it mildly. It goes from zero to sixty in who the fuck cares. Granted 200 HP is conservative for stock however 250-300 is easily attainable through FI with either supercharger or turbo setups. The aftermarket support for the platform is very strong with like 8 different superchargers and at least a dozen turbos available. That's not even taking into account the other suspension and various performance options to choose from.

I've owned mine for almost a year now and I can tell you I'd get another in a heartbeat. Just did a +900 mile road trip for work last week and averaged 33.5MPG.

    @RearViewMirror did I miss anything? ;)

Been driving around an M3 for the past 9 years as a daily driver and just bought the Tacoma last week to take over daily duties. I wish I did it years ago because as amazing as the M3 is, it is much more enjoyable commuting to work in something like the Tacoma and just using the M3 to take the wife out, drive on weekends, etc.

Hey if u change your mind, find a used Evo preferably 8 or 9. I promise u that will b a choice you’ll never regret. Gotta b one of the most fun cars ever and it’s already turbo and AWD. I’ve owned two and I miss mine all the time. I will eventually get another to have as a project to add to the Taco.

Yeah, I regret selling it now. My Taco is the daily, this sat in the garage 6,000 miles or so in 10 years, but I did make money selling it!20150405_111309.jpg

I auto crossed an FRS when it first came out and wanted to like it more than I did. Granted it was an automatic so it did largely ruin the experience for me as it was never in the right gear coming out of turns. It let itself down in that regard as the motor didn't have much pull so being in the wrong gear really highlighted this.

I auto crossed a Focus ST that same summer and actually liked it more to be 100% honest.

I've seen people advocate for a C5 in this thread. The C5 would make for a terrible daily driver, but is quite fun on the weekends. I could write a 10 page paper on the downfalls of the C5, but I do have one in my garage, so there's that lol.

I'm looking at buying one once I sell my 2nd gen! Looks like the perfect sporty commuter car that can turn into a road rocket if someone wishes...

I have high hopes for it but honestly might not make sense to buy it when we have access to the new Camaro and Mustang. I will have to wait until realease to make comparisons though.

I have been watching a lot of reviews on Youtube and several of the big car reviewers have owned the BRZ/86 and all loved it, or speak highly of it but haven't owned it. (Engineering Explained, Matt Marran, The Topher)

I too am very interested in picking up a BRZ or something else fun to daily instead of my Corolla. The list of cars I am wanting to look at is probably 15 long haha.

I currently drive my 10 ZO6 more than anything else, which ain't much. Most of my time now is spent on a green and yellow tractor with a Deere on it.
