TRD Pro Grille for $140?

There is a month long celebration either going on right now or about to take place in China. I'm guessing a lot of vendors over there are not posting until that ends.
If nothing else, the celebration will impact mail/shipping services in China. I have some items on order and the vendor contacted me a few days ago telling me this and offering a refund if I wanted. I am in no hurry so I said I would just wait. They thanked me for my patience and told me as soon as the celebration was over they would resume processing orders.

 

I got mine for 190 plus 50 for the garnish from gunny on here.

 

Payed 120 off eBay. Works and looks good.

 

Was yours from China? Did you have to attach the Toyota letters yourself or did it come as one solid piece?
What seller did you buy it from?

 

It was from China and I did have to put the letters on...I can’t remember the seller.

 

Ditto. I used epoxy from Lowe’s, hard as a rock.

 

I paid around $150 on ebay or Amazon(I forgot) for mine a few months back and it fits the truck like a glove. It looks great as well! Mine even says Toyota on the back of it. I'm sure it's fake but for $150 you cant beat it and it is just as nice as a real one. I don't know why anyone wouldn't buy one.

 

How did you get yours to say "Toyota" on the back? What program did you use to get the grill to talk?

Mine reads "ATOYOT" but doesn't say anything, despite me pressuring it to say something.

User “grill-pro” but he’s also away for the Chinese New Year so all listings are hidden until February 10th as well. Do yourself a favor and message him for a picture to see what the letter insert looks like (to confirm it’s still a 2-piece set and that he hasn’t changed to individual letters) that’s what I did and he responded real quick with a picture of what you will actually get. I learned to do this after my second grill as this trial and error crap was getting expensive, not to mention they all charge restocking and you pay return shipping which out weighs any cost savings “or deals” you would’ve gotten when you land the right grill. But for a ‘16, all these non-oem grills WILL work for you, it seems you just have a particular preference and I don’t blame you for it, it is cleaner for sure. But not made to be modified for a 2018/garnish.

 

Bought mine from https://www.amazon.com/Areyourshop/...14011&field-lbr_brands_browse-bin=Areyourshop on feb.11 for $159.99. Amazon said it would be delivered feb.20-28 but it came yesterday! Looks perfect no broken tabs. This is for my 16 TRD and it has the letters I need to glue in myself.

 

I sent a message to them and they offered to give me a refund of about $20. Thanks

 

Never hurts to try, now your grill was even more of a steal, right! Good stuff sir! Nothing epoxy can’t fix plus there is so many tabs, one or two broken as long as not sequential will still not affect how sturdy it is when held in with the 4,638 other tabs haha!
