Private sale. I think I could have gotten it for a little less but he had another guy coming to look at it a few days after I was that had already offered $30k so I wasn't going to offer less. The seller was originally asking $31k. Overall it is in nearly perfect shape with just a few little scuff marks here and there which I've already removed with a dual-action buffer and polish. Even at his original asking price of $31k I think it was a fair deal. The miles were so low because he lives less than a mile from his work. Cheers!

Yea that's pretty much where I'm at in mileage and I bought it new June 2015. I Paid 33.5k new from the stealership so taking into account the modifications and tires I think you got an awesome deal. Good luck with it, it looks great!

Thanks man! This is replacing my 2002 Off Road. I'll be sad to see the old girl go (only 160k)... kinda. ;-) This new truck is pretty awesome.

Very cool - I went from an '01 to my supercharged '15, similar to you. Tacos are definitely not small trucks anymore, right? Any questions on the transition or getting used to the new one?

Yea it's hard letting go but with that low mileage its pretty much like getting a new truck! I don't think you will regret it!

No questions at the moment. I am just contemplating whether or not I'm going to keep these heavy tire/wheels. She is definitely quick compared to my '02 but I know I'd get better performance and MPG out of a lighter setup. These tires are 65lbs and can't find a weight for the wheels but I bet I'm close to 95lbs total. Sheesh!

Is there a supercharged Tacoma forum or Facebook group that you know of?

Yeah that's a LOT of weight, definitely dragging down your speed and MPG.

Here's the info-dump mega thread on superchargers: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/trd-magnuson-4-0-supercharger-tips-tricks-and-mods.518932/

And a couple cool things that took me awhile to figure out:

I think it looks pretty good too.

I checked it this week (only 3/4 tank of gas) and with varied conditions I was dead on 15mpg. Granted, I was having some fun having a SC'd truck so hopefully that will get better. I have a 700hp Cadillac as my FUN car so I'm no stranger to superchargers (or horrible gas mileage!)... but it's different in a truck. Fun.

I think I may just get used to it and burn through this set of tires then make a change once their worn out.

I looked through that supercharger thread a bit. TONS of info in there!

Awesome tips. All things I didn't know! I'm going to dig through that knickknack thread tonight. Thanks!

    CTS-V? Now we're talking!

I average right around 15mpg with the TRD Pro rims and slightly larger than stock tires, 265/75R16. To me it's not worth feathering the throttle, I'd rather spend an extra couple bucks a tank to have some fun.

15 mpg isn't bad at all...most people average around 17 mpg city/hwy combined on stock tires. 21-22 if all highway. I was expecting a lot worse.

Did your trucks come supercharged from the factory or was it added on after?

    I like how you think!

I have a '14 V wagon that is fun and scary.
I don't want to clutter up this great thread so I will delete this in a bit.

It was installed by the dealership when new. My '02 gets 16mpg combined and I was hoping to better that. If not, so be it because I'm loving this one!

39k with under 30k miles. New lift, wheels and tires. Came with the Ted supercharger and canopy. I'd do it again for the supercharger.
