Thank you OP for starting this forum. I too have been looking at lifts and actually prefer the OR wheels.

But I guess a CMC isn’t that bad for the truck. Are you gonna do it yourself?

I am installing the 6112/5160 soon. I think the 265/75/16s will be the right size. I was thinking of doing skinny 255/80/16 but those things are SUPER expensive.

I ran the 265/75 Ko2 on mine totally stock and was fine other than the crap stock leafs in the rear. The 10 plys did slap the fuel mileage pretty hard though.

Not to hijack, but quick question:

How do those leafs ride empty? I think this is my final decision to make before ordering suspension.

    Looks great btw...

I have a complete OME kit with 888 coils and SPC UCAs waiting in my garage. Do you think that your bumper's weight has anything to do with the slight rubbing?

I don't have an aftermarket bumper so I'm hoping to install the OME kit, add 285's on stock wheels and not have any rubbing or need to do a CMC. Maybe add spacers or get new wheels to change the wheels' offset.

With all the weight I have on my truck they ride better than the truck did the day I drove it off the lot.

    Thanks.

I run E because I live in central Texas. Mesquite tree thorns and white rock roads are hell on a 6 ply C rated tire.

Yeah. I live in Alaska and go on some trails with sharp rocks and looking to hitup more trails. Did you notice a big difference going from c to e? Ride quality? I know MPG will take a hit. Im sure all the shit I will be carrying will assist me with that as well.

I went from the Kevlar GY stocks to the E ko2 and the ride to me is better on the E.
The side wall roll on the stock tires was horrible in the corners. I did however swap from a Cummins 1 ton to the Tacoma so I was accustomed to a harsh ride.

I'll have a buddy do the welding, I can cut all day, but my welds look like someone threw a mud ball at a wall.
I have 886 coils to compensate for the bumper weight (130 lbs) and future winch installation. I'm also running spidertrax 1.25s and have SPC uppers with my caster set to +3.

So I'm gonna go back to my buddies shop that did the alignment and they are gonna push the caster more forward to try to avoid the CMC. Not that the CMC is a bad thing, but, I bought the SPC uppers for their adjustability.

need to learn more about this stuff
Does anyone out there have 5100s at 0 with 887 coils up front and 3 leaf aal in the rear with non stock tires? That’s what I want to see as that’s what I’m riding with.
