Long story short Dave, spell check can really mess one up. Daughter texted me about my Granddaughters dance classes. I texted back: Let me know when her recital is. She got : Let me know when her rectal is.. True story. Darn spell Check.

Nice ink, Ken!!! It is addictive, though. I'm sure I'll be getting another before too long, too.

    Morning all:
Also a welcome to the newcomers!

NBD, but I just saw where Remington just filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy. Nothing new, clear the debt by sticking a lot of people and back to business as usual. :(

    Good morning Susan, newbies, gang,
Don't know if my allergies are kicking my butt or if some bug is messing with me too. Painted the case on a old and rare stove two days ago, Campus 5 stove. Was a crappy green so stripped that and painted the correct color, black.
Got signed up for Community Connections, local group who trade hours, exchanging work skills. Should be helping my retired Chiropractor with his fruit trees. Don't know what work I need someone to do for me. A coordinator keeps track of things.

    Welcome to the thread.

Mark: I like the SKI club! Going to steal it from you. :D

Today I finally had to replace the locking tailgate latch with the one it replaced. I purchased the locking latch in 2010. The latch has not been opening the drivers side tailgate lock too well for the past 6 months. I opened up the tailgate and lubricated all moving parts last month but today it finally decided to quit altogether. The OEM latch works perfectly.

Afternoon all :hattip:. The news said he was 19 and had been expelled from school because of discipline problems:confused:. Must have been a real winner. I agree Carl that public execution would be the way to go. Maybe the next guy would think twice about committing the crime. I love when they don't get their cable tv or conjugal visits they say they are having their rights abused:annoyed::facepalm:. What about the victim's and their families? I remember seeing a comic strip many years ago when the knight went to the King to tell him the prisoners were rioting about overcrowding and the King told him to remind the prisoners that the cemetery is only half full. Enough rant:argue:.
I checked the dictionary not spell check before I got the ink. I will be getting another one shortly. Gotta have more then my son and daugnter:rofl:

I could rant on but I wont. The news media should wise up. If the kid had a true AR 15 it was a prototype and worth a lot of money. The news media needs to step up and name the manufacture of the weapon used and stop the silly BS.

The liberal media will turn this into another gun control opportunity for sure. I would like for them to explain to me what is so different between a 19 yr old now and when I was 19. I'm pretty sure It wasn't because of the way my Parents raised me or they wouldn't have let me have my own rifle and ammo hanging in a gun rack over my bed. I know this: you can disarm people all you want to but until you change the evil in their hearts they will never stop finding ways to kill.

A good place to start looking would be those war games and other violent videos that kids play for hours until they are desensitized to real life pain, suffering, and death. And of course consequences for their actions.

I'm afraid your right. What is so different now that a 19 year old or 50 year old, (for that matter), is willing to kill innocent people en masse? I'm afraid the politicians are only looking to solve the problem with a quick fix. Banning firearms won't change the root problem. What is the root problem? It's multifactorial and I sure don't have the answer.
