So, nothing in there to make us think that we need anything else. No drivetrain upgrades or anything like that. Really the biggest difference between them is the TRD PRO suspension. Everything after that is just nice to haves especially since Toyota didn't release dyno numbers for the exhaust and intake (if you even wanted the intake). Well that is some good news! Thanks for that find.

When the 4th gen Tacoma is released, can we wait 2.5 years and buy the PRO FOX Suspension kit for $684 ??

Got mine on today. 2011 DCLB. I'm at 22 center of hub to fender on the fronts. Prior to install I was at 20. 22.5 passenger side rear and 22 driver side rear. I was at 21.5 and 21 respectively prior to install. I have the Wheeler's 5 leaf pack. So, a full two inches up front and about an inch in the back. I expected more lift in the back with the new leaf pack. I'm heavy with a bed rack, swingout and RTT. I have a 2k mile road/off-road trip coming March 1st. I may add one leaf depending on how it settles.

the ride is butter smooth. much less body roll and axle wrap is gone. I'm surprised at the small bump compliance in the rear. The Wheeler's 5 leaf pack has very thick leafs and the overload is 2x thick. I expected it to be more harsh. I'm thinking if I add another leaf to increase rake, it won't take away from the ride.

I think you would end up with a bit of bro-lean.

I will be testing this. From my measurements it seems like a reasonable outcome but the data won’t lie.

If I did some desert running on these TRD suspension parts would the shocks overheat and bust open? I am definitely interested in the parts because I want a 1 inch lift and some more capable shocks.

Wondering if it's not worth it to just spend more and get better shocks because I want to do some desert running and overlanding this spring.

I thought desert running is what these were designed for.

Camile , go a few posts back and you will see a video of a guy on a course testing the suspension .

I have a double cab long bed , if i put a 1 1/2 “ aal says in wheelers that you will get less than that , how much less 1 “ ??? I really dont want to go block , or 1/2 “ shim even ....

Thanks. I went through the thread and found it, but now I see that the suspension results in Taco-lean? I guess that I have to fix it with new leaf springs?

    The suspension fixes taco lean.
(Drivers side sitting lower than passenger on most stock trucks)
On my 2nd gen, passenger side is .5" taller, front and rear.
