    I am getting a new one tomorrow. My 31M is finally fading after 5yrs from production and about 4yrs in my truck. Granted I am still running a single battery and it sees a lot of work in accessories.

    Mileage is a fickle bitch, if the vehicle was cared for, likely no issues will come up. If fluid changes were lacking, could be coming up on major repairs.

    The Iron block 2uz has proven to be one of the most robust Toyota Engines ever. Many examples going north of 500k at my dealer alone. The most recent million mile Tundra was running a 2UZ. The GR v6, I have not seen any major failures due to mileage yet, usually just lack of maintenance. The v6 has a low occurrence of head gasket issues, I would buy with that in the back of your mind that it will need one unless recently done. If they are over 250k miles they must be purchased for less than 5k or they are overpriced.
