Plenty of that wet stuff today!

Getting up to Peacock flats is easy i made it in a stock 4x4 and my buddy had no issues in his prerunner - but it was dry. The other guys know more about going on the other trails off the main one but I haven't ventured there yet

Peacock flats is doable with stock, possible with 4x4. I've gone with no armor and 2wd most of the time...main trail is decently tame. Now, if rains...thats a different story

I’ve only gone to Peacock Flats a few times; mostly on either the main or lower trail and a few short off-trail sections. I highly recommend going with at least 4x4 and another truck or two (also with 4x4) and solid recover gear (shackles, strap(s), etc.), especially when it’s rainy like it is these days.

The last time we went up with two 4x2 vehicles, it took us about 4 hours to get out due to rain. It was good fun, but could have been real bad if we didn’t have the gear and great people.

If it’s dry, yes, Prerunner can make it on the trail. But, again, these days, I wouldn’t recommend it. Also, don’t need crazy lift. In fact, I went when I had my OEM Baja suspension (about 1.75” lift) and it handled fine. A lot has to do with the line and driver. Except for the Xrunner and five lugs, our Tacoma’s are built for this stuff.

You don’t need lots of armor but sliders are always a priority recommendation. Same goes for tires. Don’t go cheap on them. Tires make a huge difference.

Possibly. I was going to take a couple friends out for one of their birthday in Sunday. Go up to that one small beach and drink some brewskies. Would be cool to do some muddin too. I have stock tires though so someone else with some recovery gear would be nice ahaha.

Wouldn't these four Goodyear Duratrac 265/75-16's fit your 17 TRD Pro wheels?
