I'm actually not sure if it's filtered. I have been using it for like 10 or 12k and never had any issues aside from the CX turbo I ordered being used and needing a rebuild when I got it.

Sorry. Totally forgot between posting that and getting home. I'm working remote this week, so I fired up the laptop to check email when I got home and spent 2+ hours answering emails. :typing: :smash: I'll see if I can get to it in the AM or after work tomorrow.

im basically at a loss with getting these studs out. ive welded probably 50 nuts on. used map gas and propane torches. quickly cooled the stud with head hot, hit them with a large hammer. a weeks worth of soaking in every penetrant i could get my hands on.

has anyone ever successfully drilled out these studs without removing the heads?

any advice at all is appreciated.

A 90 degree drill may would work, or if it's too bad that and a rethread kit.

Ive gotten a fucked stud out of a duramax turbo pedestal this way. Lol but heat that sucker up try to get it red hot. Stud and around the outside of the hole. let it cool for like 15 seconds and take a stick of candle wax to the stud and block. should melt and suck the wax in between the male and female threads. Have that nut already welded on or i think my buddy had a snap on extractor kit that i used to turn it out i cant remember. Hopefully you haven't started drilling and i havent read all your posts on the issue so this might not be helpful

I must have gotten really lucky back 2 yrs ago when i first put the lc header on my truck we had such a hard time getting the nuts off those studs. Nothing broke but i actually started bending the stud because we couldnt get the nut off so we trying just taking the stud off. Back last year when i started tearing the truck apart to put the turbo on we went straight for the exhust manifold. Trick was probably driven for like 30 mins then sat for like an hour in the sun. Pretty hot day, but it must have been perfect temp, one nut was seized and pulled the stud with it and the others came out just as easy. Sorry to hear its giving you such a shitty time. Takes way too much time and is a pita for sure

Here I go wasting money again !! I changed the fuel pump and pressure is still the same !! I hope its not the gauge but I'm starting to think that's it. I'll try a different gauge today. I never would have thought the gauge since it's new and from LCE. we'll see !!

How old is your fuel filter? Is it hooked up to flow in the correct direction? Are there any kinks in the soft lines running from the tank to the hard lines? If the new gauge reads the same, it could be the FPR.

I have had a few gauges go bad. LCE doesn't manufacture the gauge. They just sell one which per volume, has likely had the fewest issues.

    Is this a good thing?

Why would I want to run a less efficient but less costly fuel?

yeah it is just rated for e85 so down the road you could run e85 if you wanted too, but at any rate it's a 255 lph pump which is a good idea to upgrade to anyway under boost. but it will run anything from 0 to 85 % ethanol

I'm oblivious to that aspect. And most of this in general. Learnin myself

Also, not sure what gas stations around me offer e85. I think Speedway has it :notsure:
