I "liked it" as a way to show support, they really need to up their options here. Although if people around TW had a dislike option, I think the "like" wouldn't ever be used again.

 

Same here with my son. Wife was labeled diabetic, even though now there are/were some questions about whether she was diagnosed correctly in her 20s or not, but that's another story.

Lucas was born, so right away they put the protocol in place because of the wife. I was there with him almost every minute he was down there, while I fed him a bottle and they checked his sugar levels. If I remember correctly, I think it was 5 consecutive sugar level tests above a certain number, in order to be "safe" and out of the NICU. One of those tests was "low", so the process had to start all over again. All was OK though, and so far to this day, as far as we know, he's OK.

Same process didn't apply/take place with Kelsey though. By then they had changed the diabetic "label", so it was a "normal" birth process. Same for her, till this day, as far as we know, she's OK.

It'll be all good @jpereira2. Trust me. One thing I found out was that maternity nurses/NICU nurses are fucking AMAZING!

 

By all means not in the least bit worried. Just a waiting game for her to say ok I'm ready. Everybody has been great and super friendly.

 

I think it's supposed to mostly melt Sunday.

 

If it doesn't melt Sunday, it will melt by Tuesday. Supposed to be mid 60s Tuesday Wednesday.

 

I sure as hell hope so.

And going to be selfish and put this out there now... I hope it's nice and sunny next Friday as well, so @Dgibson529 doesn't get sent home from work, so we can meet up at Two Roads for some and
