K38. Stayed at Roberts place. I guess I just had really soft feet or something. But both of my buddies sliced their feet too gettin out. I feel as the rocks at trestles are all rounded and smooth whereas the ones down in Mexico are pretty jagged.

Ah, gotcha. I must've gotten lucky the times I went to K38, but thanks for the feedback. I'll keep packing booties when I head down there.

Anybody ever heard of or use finatic.com? Its like Netflix but for fins. I'm trying them out, have a fin in the mail. $10 a month for all kinds of different fins sounds like a good deal to me. If you use promo code podcast first month is free

You ever seen Pipe break in person? Shit is scary man. I used to go to Pipe Masters every year when I was living out there for school. So much water moving on such massive reef.

I went to Byu-H for last 2.5 years of school. Loved living there on the north east side.

I haven't personally, but heard of a few guys that said their credit cards were charged for items they did not purchase. Keep and eye on your cc statements. Also, I've heard your first choice of fin is often not available......but that's all hearsay.

Let us know how it goes.

Will do. They called me the day after I signed up just to talk about what boards I had and what I wanted to gain from different fins so I give them an a+ on customer service so far.

    Aw gotcha.

I've tried finatics. Truthfully, I have felt that fins don't have a real profound effect from one to another in the same template. That being said, my 2 favorite boards have Lok-box fins boxes and I have some 101 bamboo fins that are unreal, I can really feel the snap from them.

So far in my que I have all different single fin. Gerry Lopez 8.5" a futures 10" and a 9.5" turbo tunnel. The turbo tunnel I'm curious about because of its interesting shape. Probably just novelty but I'm up for trying anything

Very cool. Those might be a bit easier to get since there's probably less of a demand for them.
