8 Week Lead, Bolt on SOS concept tax sale. Maybe by the grace of god they'll be in... I need to do a CMC badly too before LBL.

Been thinking about selling the 2011 and getting a 14' or 15' sole reason why I bought bolt on. Every time I get the itch to sell I remember I don't have a car payment anymore which means more to drop in this truck or grab a nice top shelf whiskey which is awesome. Truck has 88.6k I usually sell vehicles before the 100k mark.

 

does anyone have Geico? Are they worth a damn? I have USAA and my 6 month premium is $510... same coverages on Geico and I was quoted $388... worth it to switch?

 

A good friend owns and operates a big body shop. He HATES Geico. But then, he deals with em from the other side of the business...

 

Good question, I have USAA as well and since moving here my premium went up $200. Been looking around but been with USAA for 14 years and hate dealing with all the questions of really changing insurance I guess.

 

When you write "I got the sliders for my taco" it's misleading if you don't actually have them . And cool points lost for buying from them. You should def sell it after those go on.

Well I got off the phone with USAA earlier and they did bring up a good point - the insurance companies will give you a low quote and then they'll raise the rates after a while. That sounds like a really shitty tactic, but I wouldn't put it past them. I asked my gf because she got Geico about a year ago, and she said the rates did go up, between $30-60 a per six month. That means after a little while, the difference won't even be all that much (if my initial rate of $388 went up to $415ish..). I think I'll just be sticking with USAA as I have never had any issues with them when opening claims. But I may have to think about it.

Anyone have experience with dealing with a claim with Geico?

I read "they won't be in" as "they won't be on" combined with the context of you saying you had them, it sounded like you just wouldn't get around to putting them on and I was gonna offer to help.

That's dangerous going back in my past on here. No telling what I said.

But basically he did shitty work multiple times, blamed it on a friend helping him, refused to do anything to correct it and told people they are shit out of luck. And that was when he was STARTING his company. The best part about a open business market is when there is a shitty one that exists, people can go elsewhere. His company may be vastly improved but when you have a craftsmanship and customer relationship based business, you just can't have that combination of things happen and expect to move along like it's all good. It's just shitty business and general human principles to sell people crap and give no fucks about it. 1 time is 1 time too many for me.

Can’t help with Geico claim, but just did one with USAA 2 weeks ago when my wife decided to hit a pole with 4Runner. Had no issues with USAA maybe that’s why I stay with them.
