I am looking to install a pioneer HU.
There are a few faceplates out there that have slightly different appearances, colors, and textures.
if you have any picts of your install and remember what face plate please post them.
    thanks in advance,
    Scott

Metra and Scosche are the only two I've heard of.
Metra has the same texture as the stock set up and seems to be the most popular.
I bought a Metra but the paint is half ass. I would suggest repainting it if you get a Metra for two reasons. First like I mentioned the paint job is half ass and second the plastic contains lead. It's a bad place for lead to be when you have your hands all over it.
The Scosche is smooth and kind of matches the grayish color that surrounds your AC vent.
Do a search for Scosche and Metra. There are plenty of pics and advice on those two faceplates.

Well, I didnt know about the lead:eek::eek:, but speaking from both, I would completely recommend a metra over the scosche. The scosche is loud it didn't fit right, it ate up a chunk of my dash Its a terrible product IMO.

Touching lead is a non issue. Breathing or swallowing lead is. Don't worry yourselves.

If you do a search within the audio/video section for Metra and Scoshe, you will probably find all the pictures you can stand looking at. This seems to be a popular topic.
There are polls, debates, arguments, and yes..even plenty of pictures.
